About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join our client in Poole. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing customer parts sales, providing top-notch service and support, and ensuring the efficient procurement and control of parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, control, and procure parts efficiently to meet customer demands.
  • Participate in stock control and regular stock taking to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to staff as required to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Resolve invoice queries, manage returns to suppliers, and chase credits to minimize financial losses.
  • Control warranty parts retention and processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Receive, record, and allocate parts and consumables from suppliers to maintain a smooth supply chain.
  • Manage waste disposal and procure tools, equipment, and consumables for the workshop to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain daily and weekly upkeep of the parts department and storage areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
What We Offer
  • Basic salary: £32,000 - £38,000 [depending on experience]
  • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays [holiday increasing with time served] + Nest pension scheme
  • Hours: Monday – Friday [8:00am – 6:00pm] or [7:00am – 5:00pm]
  • Flexibility within the role is essential to meet the needs of the business
  • (1-in-3) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm]
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior parts role with a dealership is preferred, but an established Parts Advisor wanting a step up would be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and a dynamic personality are essential for success in this role.
