Job Description: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our Service Centre Severnside team at CHEP. As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for maintaining all manufacturing assets, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Proactively work with the team to identify and address maintenance needs, completing root cause analysis and returning equipment to a safe and timely manner.
* Perform proactive and reactive maintenance, adhering to health and safety procedures and continually seeking ways to improve processes and procedures.
* Identify failure modes and trends, complete root cause analysis processes, and drive agreed actions.
* Provide support to site Project and Change Initiatives as required.
* Ensure all tasks are risk assessed through site-specific or dynamic risk assessments.
* Report all maintenance tasks on the CMMS system as required and to the correct standard.

**Requirements:**

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification.
* Evidence of cross-skilling is required if your qualification is of a mechanical specialism.
* PAT Testing, PLC qualifications, Welding, and Machine Safety (PILZ) are highly desirable.
