Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

CHEP is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing assets. Your expertise will be utilized to perform proactive and reactive maintenance, drive efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements, and support site reliability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks using a multi-skilled approach, ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed.
  • Complete root cause analysis, identify failure modes and trends, and drive agreed actions to improve equipment reliability.
  • Support site project and change initiatives as required.
  • Issue work permits and supervise contractors.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification.
  • Essential skills include cross-skilling, 18th Edition wiring regulations, PAT testing, PLC qualifications, abrasive wheels, welding, and IOSH.
