Senior Conference Producer

Our client, a leading provider of conferences and events, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Conference Producer to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality conference programs that meet the needs of their clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth-oriented product strategy and vision for conferences and events
  • Manage and increase event gross profit through effective budgeting and financial planning
  • Research, coordinate, and deliver high-quality conference programs that meet client and attendee expectations
  • Act as the lead Project Manager for each conference/event, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Drive innovation and launch new products and services to enhance the conference experience
  • Create project plans for the creation and delivery of each conference/event, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Structure conference/event programs to enhance interaction and sharing among attendees
  • Drive event narrative, identify speakers, and industry experts to deliver engaging and informative content
  • Requires domestic and international travel to attend conferences and events

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 Research-based degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in conference production, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality events
  • Strong research and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, attendees, and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive, engaging, and professional attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
