Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DMT Support Officer to provide administrative support to a Senior Assistant Director in Repairs and Investment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer care and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders on behalf of the service and the Senior Assistant Director.

The role involves delivering a full range of administrative support, including managing a broad portfolio of activities and conflicting priorities, while ensuring effective delivery and utilizing initiative to prioritize and rearrange work activities as needed.

The successful candidate will need to possess:

  • Knowledge of a broad range of council processes and related systems.
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of key stakeholders on behalf of the service and the Senior Assistant Director.
  • Provide confidential executive and secretarial support to the Senior Assistant Director, setting up and maintaining good administrative systems.
  • Produce a range of reports, including analysis of data by interrogating databases for the Senior Assistant Director and SMT as required, while undertaking work on sensitive documentation and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to respond to a broad range of queries in a timely and accurate manner on behalf of the service and the Senior Assistant Director.
  • Experience of using IT software packages such as Microsoft Office and Office 365 to a good standard.

Requirements:

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro rata). This is a competitive salary range based on the location and industry standards.
