Quantity Surveyor Required

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at 4Recruitment Services. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with NEC administration, scope preparation, CE assessment, and target cost production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with NEC administration, scope preparation, CE assessment, and target cost production.
  • Upskilling junior commercial team members.
  • Assuring target cost and budget estimate requests on the NEC Contracts within the Highways and Transport service.
  • Interrogating the costs management systems for both the client and contractors, ensuring compliance with prime records.
  • Providing guidance on the NEC form of Contract, with particular emphasis on change management for the contracts and frameworks in place.
  • Supporting new staff members in understanding the NEC form of contract and how to apply these to the delivery of works and commercial requirements set by these contracts.

Requirements:

  • HNC (or above) in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS.

Working Arrangements:

  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days per week on-site at our client's location.
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Remuneration:

  • GBP450 per day via Umbrella (no LTD payments).
