Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process for building and maintaining Windows 10/11 images, creating and developing best practices and procedures for Windows, and providing support for IM&T Infrastructure, including networks, Linux, and Windows systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices and procedures for Windows 10/11 image creation and maintenance
  • Provide technical support for IM&T Infrastructure, including networks, Linux, and Windows systems and applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network problems and outages, and schedule upgrades
  • Investigate and resolve faults in local and remote environments using information sources
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access
  • Support and administer firewall and switched network environments in line with IT security policies
  • Collaborate with the team to develop solutions approved by Architecture and deployed into through-life support

Requirements:

  • Proficient in VMware (vCenter/ESXi, vSAN, NSX, Horizon)
  • Expertise in Windows 10, Windows 11, Horizon
  • Experience with NSX and Dell OS10
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc
  • Experience in security hardening (CIS)
  • Familiarity with Aria/vROPs, LibreNMS, etc
  • Experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform), PowerShell, Python
  • Working Knowledge of Bamboo/Bitbucket
  • Experience with Confluence/Jira
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow
  • Working Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/AlmaLinux)
  • Containers K8s, Portainer, Docker etc
