Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support team at Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with barriers to learning.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in the classroom and outside
- Encouraging independence and promoting a positive learning environment
- Liaising with the class teacher and Assistant Head for Inclusion & SEND to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on student progress and development
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about education and has experience working with young people. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
