Customer Service Opportunity

Join our team as a Customer Team Member in the Daily Deli Department at SPAR Valley, Anglesey.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Prepare and present food and beverages to high standards, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a positive and friendly service.
  • Upsell products and promote multi-buy offers to maximize sales.
  • Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, and serving food and cleaning the department.

Store Operations:

  • Work stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks, such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, and promotional displays.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
