Customer Service and Sales Opportunity
Join our team at AF Blakemore & Son Ltd as a Customer Team Member in the Daily Deli Department.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store. As a Customer Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting our store management and creating a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Prepare and present food and beverages to high standards, including cooking, baking, and preparing ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a positive and friendly service.
- Upsell products and highlight promotions to maximize sales.
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Store Operations:
- Work stock, checking deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
- Complete additional assigned tasks, such as date checking, stock and gap checking, price changes, and promotional displays.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Reliable and punctual, with a keen sense of responsibility.
