About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Containerised Solutions Engineer to join our Information Management function, responsible for deploying, securing and managing Docker and Kubernetes container solutions.

As a key member of our engineering community, you will play a pivotal role in guiding internal stakeholders on effective use of Docker and Kubernetes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the health and performance of the Kubernetes environment, automating deployment and configuration tasks using Ansible and other automation tools, and conducting workshops to educate colleagues on Kubernetes platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, secure, and manage Docker and Kubernetes container solutions.
  • Maintain the health and performance of the Kubernetes environment
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on container creation and usage.
  • Automate deployment and configuration tasks using Ansible and other automation tools.
  • Conduct workshops to educate colleagues on Kubernetes platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Nexus, Gitlab, and Ansible, as well as proficiency in Linux OS, particularly RHEL, with strong command line and scripting skills. Experience in automating deployment and configuration tasks using Ansible is also essential.
