Senior Biomedical Scientist Opportunity

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology Team.

About the Role

As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services, including diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, support the validation and assessment of new equipment, and contribute to the development of new diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality pathology services, including diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
  • Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and the development of new diagnostic procedures.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of departmental goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in biomedical science, with relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry. You will also need to have good communication and team player skills, as well as the ability to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
