About the Role
Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services and taking a share of covering on-call service out of hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, through to quality control.
- Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
- Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.
Requirements
- Registration with the HCPC and relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry.
- Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
- Excellent communication and team player skills.
