Job Title: Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to lead our offshore design team and provide guidance on Marine Systems design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage internal workflows for assigned projects, planning team activities accordingly.
  • Develop and define technical solutions for Marine Systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Company HSEQ policies.
  • Collaborate with immediate and wider teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Liaise with other disciplines during project execution, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with pipeline design standards and Company policies, applying them correctly in all aspects of the job.
  • Review project documentations provided by contractors and Shipyards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture, with a focus on Marine Systems.
  • Have extensive experience in writing technical specifications and functional requirements for Marine Systems in FPSO and FLNG projects, during Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) and execution.
  • Be familiar with FEED and EPC LNG projects, Seagoing experience as second/chief engineer, and experience in working with Oil Tankers/LNG Carriers.
  • OPITO certification for offshore travel is desirable.
