Job Title: Chief Engineer

Leading the offshore design team and providing guidance on how to perform Marine Systems design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up internal workflow for assigned Projects and planning the team's activities accordingly.
  • Studying and defining the best technical solutions for Marine Systems.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with immediate and wider teams.
  • Liaising with other disciplines during project execution.
  • Awareness of pipeline design standards requirements and correct application of Company HSEQ policies.
  • Awareness of naval and Structural interfaces with the marine systems.
  • Reviewing project documentations provided by contractors/Shipyards.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be highly experienced with the writing of technical specifications and functional requirements for the marine systems in FPSO and FLNG, during the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) and execution on FPSO/FLNG projects.
  • Experience of working on or monitoring of FEED and EPC LNG projects, Seagoing experience as second/chief engineer, experience in working with Oil Tankers/LNG Carriers, experience as a Classification Society, surveyor or Tanker/LNG Ship Vetting engineer, OPITO certified for offshore travel would be preferable to cover this position.
Benefits:

We operate a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month.

As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
