Job Title: Prototype Wirer

At Ceema Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Prototype Wirer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on small quantity specialist cable, rack, and box builds.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a small assembly department, working closely with the Production Manager.
  • Assemble prototype cables, box builds, and 19" rack systems.
  • Read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings to ensure accurate builds.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to other assembly team members.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with required standards.
  • Test and inspect final assemblies.
  • Assist the Production Manager with quotations and customer relations.
  • Document shop floor processes and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical manufacturing, preferably from the Defence industry. A willingness to work collaboratively with the Production Manager and assembly team is essential.

IPC620 experience is required, and knowledge of other standards such as EN 60204 or EN 60950 is an advantage.

Candidates will have significant experience and supervisory skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
