Job Title: Divisional Governance Manager: Strategic Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced Divisional Governance Manager to lead the coordination of a robust clinical quality and governance framework within our Community Health and Integrated Care Division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring high-quality care delivery, with a strong focus on governance and leadership.
Salary:
Pay Band 8a: £73,000 - £82,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours:
37.5 hours per week

Job Purpose:
The Divisional Governance Manager will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This will involve working closely with stakeholders across the organization, including clinical teams, managers, and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a governance framework that promotes high-quality care delivery and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with clinical teams and managers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for addressing these issues
- Provide guidance and support to staff on governance-related matters, including policy development and compliance
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the governance framework, making recommendations for improvement as necessary
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare or management
- Proven experience in governance or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including those related to healthcare quality and safety
