Job Title: Senior Audio Programmer

A renowned game developer is seeking a talented Senior Audio Programmer to collaborate with their Game Technology team on a 12-month contract. This position plays a pivotal role in integrating and optimizing audio systems and workflows for the company's next exciting project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Game Technology, Design, and Audio teams to integrate audio hooks and systems into game features.
  • Work with audio designers to implement data-driven systems connecting Wwise functionality to audio technical features.
  • Identify, propose, and implement workflow changes streamlining audio integration.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience implementing audio systems and hooks (ideally for Wwise) across various features in commercially released games.
  • Excellent C and C++ skills with the ability to write readable and maintainable code.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm and understanding of sound and music as aesthetic art forms.

Salary: $120,000 per annum.
