- Assign stories, edit and approve scripts, and help produce and edit audio.
- Tap into the stories of the Journal's newsroom, fact-checking and editing short and long-form scripts for multiple daily podcasts and news briefs.
- 7+ years working in a news or news-adjacent setting, preferably in business news.
- 5+ years' experience in audio storytelling.
- Experience leading and managing a small team.
- Strong journalistic judgment with a specific eye for fact-checking standards.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
You will report to the Journal's deputy editor of audio and will have the opportunity to work with a globally minded audience. This is an editorial role leading our London-based audio team, and we are looking for someone with a startup mindset who is excited to wake up each morning to share important news and business stories.
