Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a pet-related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
