Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physical Education Teacher to join our successful department at a highly regarded mixed school in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach at Key Stages 3 and 5, with a formal teaching qualification and QTS (Qualification for Teaching Status).

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to students at KS3 and KS5 levels. As part of a well-resourced and supportive department, the teacher will have access to excellent facilities and a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Physical Education to students at KS3 and KS5 levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Physical Education curriculum
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • QTS status
  • Experience teaching Physical Education in a UK secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer
