Job Summary
As a Care Assistant in Rotherham, you will support clients in the community to live and remain in their own home. You must be willing to travel around Rotherham and commit to working a combination of shift times, including 7am - 2:30pm and 3:45pm - 9:45pm, as well as alternative weekends and bank holidays.
You will require a valid driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to add business insurance to your insurance policy. We currently have part-time and full-time positions available between 16 and 35 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support while monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, reporting concerns to healthcare professionals
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality care and a safe living environment
- Respect clients' dignity, privacy, and individual preferences at all times
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when required
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Salary & Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £12.30-£13.30 per hour, paid bank holidays at double time, and a £300 joining bonus (T&Cs apply).
