Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at Todd Hayes Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing queries, and producing member statement packs. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours a week, based in Norwich.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices received via post, email, Esker, or F4F, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage the query log, resolving queries with suppliers within a month.
  • Validate non-utility invoices against orders and price lists.
  • Enter standard and utility invoices into Harrier, raising queries to suppliers as necessary.
  • Assist with monthly post-out process and manage the weekly query list.
  • Carry out pre-post-out checks, generating statements in line with procedures.
  • Produce member statement packs, reconciling packs issued to expected numbers.
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel.
  • Accounts receivable/payable experience highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a similar role, especially data entry and query management.
  • Confident telephone manner.
