About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and caring Patient Care Specialist to join our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services team at East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients, healthcare professionals, and escorts to and from various locations throughout Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, and Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions.
  • Administering oxygen therapy as required.
  • Developing strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Contributing to a positive and respectful team culture.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Healthcare or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid full clean manual driving license (category A or B).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
