Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:15pm and Friday 8am to 3pm (No Hybrid Working)

Function: Commercial

Job Purpose:

The Customer Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and driving business growth. This role will involve working closely with the sales team, production planning, and commercial manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivables: Ensure customer adherence to contractual terms, proactive analysis of Power BI data, and escalation of late payments.
  • Budget/Forecasting: Generate and share comprehensive budgets and rolling five-quarter forecasts with the sales leaders.
  • Contract Compliance and Contract Reviews: Review demand requests against contractual obligations, relay observations and deviations to the customer, and expedite resolution.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain open communication links with appointed client representatives, cultivate and maintain good relationships with all customers, and be the inside representative for external and senior sales and commercial representatives.
  • Enquiries/Quotes: Log and enter all enquiries, prepare bid proposals for commercial and general manager review, and ensure cost-work-ups and quotes are accurate and in accordance with PCC policy.
  • Weekly reported KPIs: Quote Turnaround, Lost/Win Ratio, and Outstanding Enquiries.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a numerate, engineering, or business discipline.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly outstanding skills in Excel.
