Your Role

As a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, implementing robust health and safety measures, and promoting a safety culture within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs for compliance
  • Conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments for hazard identification
  • Providing expert guidance on EHS matters and promoting a safety culture
  • Delivering training programs to enhance EHS awareness
  • Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and developing corrective action plans
  • Monitoring EHS performance metrics and reporting to management
  • Staying updated on regulations and industry standards
  • Conducting audits to address non-compliance issues
  • Maintaining accurate records of EHS activities
  • Assisting in developing emergency response plans and conducting drills
  • Participating in EHS committees and engaging with regulatory agencies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in EHS, with hands-on experience in CDM, RAMS, inspections, and investigations
  • A minimum of 4+ years of EHS experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • A Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and a proven track record in developing and implementing HSE programs, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and people management abilities
  • Certification as a Safety Professional, ISO, NEBOSH, or equivalent
