About the Role

Achilles Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join our team. As an Auditor, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and global communities to mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective HSEQ audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit Delivery
    • Prepare for audits by planning arrangements with customers and ensuring compliance with community requirements.
    • Travel to audit sites, delivering scheduled on-site audits to meet chargeability targets in line with community requirements.
    • Create detailed audit reports to agreed quality requirements, submitting them to meet SLA's.
    • Manage costs associated with audit delivery, including travel and expenses.
    • Promote audit products and serve as an ambassador for the company.
  • Quality
    • Ensure audits are carried out in line with relevant industry and scheme standards.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports that are accurate, grammatically correct, and provide evidence and justification of findings.
    • Contribute to the development of schemes, ensuring they conform to corporate standards and procedures.
    • Undergo annual witnessed audits as part of quality management procedures.
    • Provide constructive feedback to ensure the ongoing development of schemes.
  • Customer Experience
    • Liaise with customers and other interested parties to provide guidance on scheme content.
    • Ensure customers are contacted prior to audits in line with company requirements, audit arrangements, and preparedness.
    • Be an ambassador for Achilles and the community while interacting with customers.
    • Provide added value to customers through insights.
    • Verify supply chain information on behalf of buying communities to enable a risk-based approach to procurement decisions.
    • Promote and deliver continual improvement throughout the supply chain by identifying conformance, non-conformances, and deviations from industry standards.
    Qualifications
    • Full driving license.
    • Health and Safety professional qualification, such as a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
    • Lead Auditor certification via examination (IRCA or equivalent).
