About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive daily rate of £95 per day. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who require additional support, and possess a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques. A Team Teach qualification is preferred, but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to manage their emotions, behaviour, and learning.
- Implement tailored learning plans and strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional development.
- Support students in managing behavioural challenges and de-escalating situations using evidence-based techniques.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and experience working with children who have challenging behaviours.
- Ability to remain calm and composed when managing difficult situations or emotional outbursts.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable students.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and other staff.
- A competitive daily rate of £95 per day.
- A supportive and collaborative team dedicated to student success and well-being.
- Training and development opportunities, including support for gaining further qualifications and professional growth.
