Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter Assistant to join our team at Abbatt Group. As a Porter Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly dust and clean glass to main entrance and doors, including vision glass to partition doors. Dust and polish handrails, door furniture, and intercoms. Vacuum carpeted areas and mop hard floors as required.
  • External Areas: Spot sweep and litter pick external areas, ensuring the site remains tidy and safe.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any faults or damage to management directly. Check communal lighting and change lamps as required, reporting any issues.
  • Supervision and Security: Supervise contractors and maintenance companies, ensuring they follow site protocols. Oversee the security of the building, ensuring communal entrance doors are closed at all times.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and bending.

Working Hours: 1pm - 5pm, Monday and Friday.

Salary: £11,500 per annum.
