We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Tutor to join our Teaching team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in expanding the learning experiences and providing tuition for small groups of young people, ensuring full engagement and meeting the needs of each individual.

About the Role

As a Tutor, you will have experience teaching the national curriculum across primary and/or secondary within Special Educational Needs. You will be responsible for teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and associated complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and supporting young people with SEN
  • Developing and delivering lesson plans tailored to individual needs
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching to respond to strengths and needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and communication

Requirements

To be successful as a Tutor, you will need:

  • Previous experience of teaching the national curriculum and SEN
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Resilience and ability to adapt to challenging situations
  • Caring and compassionate approach to supporting young people
