Financial Governance Specialist Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert financial governance and advisory services to our client's finance team. This includes developing and implementing robust financial processes, systems, and frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting business growth and complexity.

Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £140,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full oversight of financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting across the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Development and implementation of best-in-class financial processes, systems, and frameworks to support business growth and complexity
  • Presentation of insightful financial information to the senior leadership team, supporting informed decision-making
  • Strong balance sheet control, ensuring accurate reconciliation and review of all accounts on a monthly basis
Requirements:
  • Software/SaaS experience, preferably in a private equity-backed organization
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, ideally with a background in audit or practice
  • Experience in working with high-growth organizations, with exposure to international entities and complex financial systems
