CV-Library is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Governance Specialist to oversee the financial accounting function. This role will provide strategic leadership to senior leadership teams, overseeing regulatory reporting, financial controls, VAT and tax reporting, internal and external audit process, rent and service charges, asset management, sales and purchase ledger.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and motivate the Financial Accounting and Reporting team to enhance the quality of financial management, reporting, and control.
  2. Improve and innovate financial accounting processes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Deliver robust management accounting and manage financial risk ensuring governance and control is complied with.
  4. Lead the delivery of financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Relevant CCAB, ACCA, CIMA qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in accounting, VAT and CIS reporting, collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts and financial statements.
  • Direct social housing experience.

Benefits and Salary Information
