Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. This newly created role will provide financial leadership and support to the Directors and wider team to drive sustainable and profitable performance of the business and its contracts.

About the Role:

  • Financial Leadership: Collaborate with the Finance Director to provide divisional month-end reporting packs in line with Group requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Develop and maintain bi-weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Commercial Partnership: Bridge the gap between Finance and Commercial Teams to assist project teams in producing and reviewing monthly cost valuation reporting, processing monthly contract accounting, labour allocations, and staff utilisation.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and re-forecasting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Balance Sheet Management: Oversee balance sheet management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • IT System Implementation: Participate in the introduction of new ERP/IT systems to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Analytical and Excel Skills: Possess advanced analytical and Excel skills to drive financial insights and decision-making.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of business operations and financial management principles.
