We are seeking a heritage specialist to join our London office and contribute to shaping exciting projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will work in the heritage team, collaborating with colleagues across the company nationwide.

About the Role
  • Expertise in Historic Environments: Developing statements of significance for historic assets, including listed buildings, conservation areas, and historic landscapes.
  • Assessment & Advising: Assessing impacts of developments on heritage sites and advising stakeholders such as clients and local authorities.
  • GIS & Townscape Skills: Experience in or willingness to develop expertise in GIS and townscape assessment.

Candidate Requirements
  • Academic Background: Minimum 2:1 in relevant fields such as Archaeology, History, Conservation, or Town Planning. A post-graduate degree and an IHBC-recognized course are desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Work Experience: Prior experience in the heritage field is a plus, whether in consultancy, local government, or another relevant capacity.
