Sales and Technical Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Data Management & Front Office Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-sales Activities: Partner with sales teams to execute all pre-sales activities for EDM & thinkfolio, working closely with other products within the Enterprise Solutions division.
  2. Product Demonstrations: Run demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements for EDM & thinkfolio, ensuring successful and timely delivery of prospective clients' requirements.
  3. Client Interaction: Work closely with prospects to understand their challenges and business requirements across financial products (Equities, Fixed Income, Indices, Reference Data, OTC, Private Assets, etc.).
  4. RFP Assistance: Assist in RFP completion by providing responses to product and technology questions.
  5. Account Management: Communicate with prospects and internal stakeholders throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, escalating issues where necessary.
  6. Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date awareness of product and new system functionalities in developing EDM & thinkfolio offerings.
  7. Commercial Insights: Understand commercial implications and provide customer feedback to product managers for continuous improvement.
  8. Team Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, professional services, and other business lines to create new demos and offer new solutions.
  9. Knowledge Transfer: Provide coaching and training to new clients, ensuring they are prepared for project start and competent in utilizing the product as planned.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5+ years of industry experience.
  2. High level of technical skills, with strong SQL required.
  3. Commercial awareness and understanding of financial software sales cycles.
  4. Experience in business analysis/consulting roles preferred.
  5. Experience working with data management platforms, data warehouses, reporting tools, or accounting systems preferred.
  6. Experience with front office platforms, order management systems, reporting tools preferred.
  7. Proven customer service skills and ability to deliver value-added solutions.
  8. Ability to analyze problems, identify options, and make sound decisions.
  9. Strong self-organization and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  10. Resilient and adaptable style with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  11. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  12. Ability to build effective working relationships and establish credibility with clients.
  13. Ability to travel (25-40%).
