About the Role
As an Optical Manager at Asda Opticians, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire operation. This includes managing your team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants
- Oversee compliance processes and procedures
- Review sales forecasting and department targets
- Deal with customer queries and provide excellent customer service
- Coach and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient service
Requirements
- A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
- Confident in coaching others
- Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
- Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
- Organised and able to manage your time effectively
