Engineering Capability Development

National Nuclear Laboratory is a world-leading organization in the field of nuclear science and technology. We are seeking a talented Engineering Capability Specialist to join our team and play a key role in developing the capabilities of our engineering workforce.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the operational activities within our Remote Engineering, Design and Robotics team, focusing on ensuring safe and successful delivery of customer work scopes while driving continuous improvement of team activities.

You will also be accountable for EHSS&Q within your team, including duty of care for all staff, ownership and safe operations of equipment and facilities, delivery of projects, programs, and technical work, and delivery of the EHSS&Q Assurance and Improvement Plans.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will also support the Capability Leader with budgetary control associated with your team, measured against budget control through KPIs.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
