About the Role

We are seeking a Safety Manager to lead our Safety, Emergency Management, and Security teams to ensure compliance with legislative and corporate standards. As a key member of our team, you will drive HSE excellence, collaborate with teams, and enhance safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Safety management and supporting environmental aspects on site.
  • Develop and implement the Safety strategy for the Site, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintain foresight on legal and corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure KPI, monitoring, and reporting processes comply with requirements.
  • Deliver training to enhance safety understanding in site operations.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Knowledge of external HSE legislation.
  • Technical knowledge and practical understanding of HSE hazards in chemical manufacturing.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, technical support, or HSE operational role.
  • Proven proactive track record in HSE within manufacturing Safety.
  • Strong expertise in Safety issues, legislation, and renewable energy sources.
  • Proven experience managing external stakeholders, including communities and authorities.
  • Technical expertise in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives.
