About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced support worker to join our team at ILS Case Management. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs and making a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to a client with dystonic cerebral palsy and epilepsy
- Assist with transfers using hoisting equipment
- Monitor seizures and take notes on seizure patterns
- Engage in social activities and outings with the client
- Support the client's therapy programme
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably with cerebral palsy and epilepsy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, tact, and understanding when working with clients
