The Opportunity

As the Senior Electrical Design & Compliance Engineer at JBT's Proseal business, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery. Reporting to the Head of Automation, you will ensure compliance with global electrical regulations and source components to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to electrical design and safety goals.
  • Develop wiring schematic diagrams adhering to international regulations.
  • Implement test procedures for electrical safety.
  • Source components and optimize machinery performance.
  • Create comprehensive supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an electrical design engineer within the food processing industry.
  • Proficiency with Electrical CAD software, particularly EPLAN.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, servo drive systems, and control gear.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and directives.
  • Strong understanding of industrial wiring practices and safety protocols.
