Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design & Compliance Engineer to join our Proseal business as a Senior Electrical Design & Compliance Specialist. This role will involve creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery, ensuring compliance with global electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical schematic diagrams for packaging machinery
  • Ensure compliance with international electrical regulations, including CE marking, the Machinery Directive, and the Low Voltage Directive
  • Sourcing electrical components to meet custom project requirements and optimize standard machinery
  • Developing supporting documentation, including wiring schematic diagrams and test procedures

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience as an electrical design engineer, preferably in the food industry
  • Proficient user of Electrical CAD software, EPLAN ideally
  • Familiarity with PLCs, servo drive systems, AC Inverters, and Mitsubishi control gear
