Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and analyse engineering aspects of customer orders to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and work order data to support production planning.
  3. Collaborate with production teams to resolve drawing issues and changes, ensuring seamless production.
  4. Administer controlled builds and ensure accurate manufacturing BOMs to meet production requirements.
  5. Work closely with production teams to enhance engineering specifications and improve manufacturing processes.
  6. Conduct hands-on analysis, problem-solving, and process development to optimise operations and engineering specifications.
  7. Develop and implement cellular manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and productivity.
  8. Achieve high standards through 5S and Visual Factory techniques to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Automation Specialist Responsibilities:
  1. Specify, set up, and commission new robotic equipment to support automation initiatives.
  2. Design, plan, and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  3. Oversee control and procedures for MIG, MAG, GMAW, and TIG welding to ensure high-quality products.
  4. Manage documentation and performance reports to track automation progress.
  5. Train others in automated/robotic welding processes to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  6. Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs to maintain equipment and prevent downtime.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Robotics/Engineering or 5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Understanding of robotic applications and programming to support automation initiatives.
  3. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma in manufacturing is a plus to drive continuous improvement.
