**Job Overview:**

Niftylift Ltd, a leading provider of access equipment solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Student Product Support Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our engineering development department, working closely with production, purchasing, compliance, and quality assurance teams.

About the Role:

  • Assist the Product Support team with day-to-day tasks and investigate problems encountered through stakeholder meetings and EIR processes.
  • Collate investigated information into a format that enables findings to be easily communicated and presented.
  • Carry out model and drawing changes, develop basic skills in drafting, modelling, and detailing, and design solutions at part and sub-assembly levels under guidance of senior engineers.
  • Daily support for existing MEWP products in production, actioning Engineering Change Requests, and assisting with problem-solving and requests raised at stakeholder meetings and from customer feedback.
  • Provide technical support for Quality and Purchasing departments, prepare CAD models in Creo, modify and produce drawings in AutoCAD and Creo, observe first-off production builds, and provide feedback to interested parties.
  • Produce process documentation and work instructions to support the introduction of new designs and customer options.

Requirements:

  • Working towards an Engineering degree.
  • Possession of a keen desire to learn new technologies and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work individually as well as a team member.
