Racing Groom Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Racing Groom to join our team at Yard and Groom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our horses, as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the yard.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Administer medications accurately and record them in our system
* Maintain the yard to a high standard, including feeding, mucking out, lead outs, grooming, and bandaging
* Have a good knowledge of horse management and be able to apply it in a practical setting
* Manage staff and take sole charge of the yard when necessary
* Have the opportunity to ride if required, but this is not a riding position
* Occasional travel to the races
* Full-time position with a competitive salary
