To provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for patients in the Puddletown Surgery population, both in the surgery setting and in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care in the surgery and community settings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct proactive screening for chronic diseases and provide patient education.
  • Perform various nursing procedures, including venepuncture, ECG, and wound care.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and protocols within the practice.
  • Assist GPs in delivering effective patient care.
Safeguarding and Risk Assessment
  • Awareness of adult and child safeguarding.
  • Recognize signs of abuse and neglect, and report concerns to the Lead Nurse.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
