About the Role

We are expanding our electrical division to meet the growing demands of our business.

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to join our team in the Bedford area.

As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the south region in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units as required.
  • Produce reports and estimates to repair set units and advise on safety issues as necessary.
  • Ensure all necessary risk assessments and method statements are adhered to.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with your manager and internal and external customers and stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations on timelines, quality, and overall service levels.
  • Be self-driven, with the ability to work independently to manage own workloads and call outs.
  • Attend call outs for the branch as part of a call out rota.
Requirements
  • JIB Qualified Electrician and ability to meet ECS Gold card requirements.
  • Preferred - 18th edition qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
