Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead our EHS team at our manufacturing site in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

About the Role

This is a pivotal position that requires a strong leader to manage all aspects of environmental, health & safety matters within the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with senior members of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead a team of 5 people to manage environmental, health & safety matters within the facility.
  3. Collaborate with senior members of staff to ensure effective EHS management.
  4. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  5. Develop and implement training programs to ensure EHS awareness among employees.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A degree in environmental science, chemistry, or engineering.
  2. Proven track record in developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives.
  3. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to engage with people at all levels.
