Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our Research and Development Team at ECU Testing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical expertise in electronic fault finding and PCB rework methods, as well as experience in automotive operations, electronics, and communication protocols.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing legacy product failure mode analysis, involving the use of wiring diagrams and power-up testing on ECUs to identify specific circuits and functions. They will also analyze ECUs and PCBAs to discover electronic faults and enact repairs, documenting information and training technicians along the way.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Follow wiring diagrams and power up ECUs on the bench to test specific circuits and functions.
  • Analyze ECUs and PCBAs to discover electronic faults and enact repairs.
  • Document information and train technicians.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in electronic fault finding and PCB rework methods, as well as proficiency in electronic schematic/wiring diagram drawings. Knowledge of automotive operations, electronics, and communication protocols is essential. Additionally, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong documentation and communication skills, are necessary for success in this position.
