Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Cleaning Operative to join our Facilities Management team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across our estate, adhering to strict health and safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
This is a permanent position with above-market rates and excellent conditions, offering a great work-life balance. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress to supervisory level, as well as enjoy various employee benefits and a colleague discount scheme.
Main Responsibilities- Empty litter and recycling bins in a timely and efficient manner
- Clean all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings within a group of buildings
- Replenish washroom consumables and maintain the cleanliness of sanitary areas, toilets, and showers
- Perform emergency and reactive cleaning tasks as required, such as removing graffiti, body fluid spillages, and accidental spillages
- Maintain the care and cleanliness of equipment used in carrying out these duties
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A proven track record of providing high-quality cleaning services in a similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
