Senior Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading private healthcare provider in the UK.

As a key member of our Pharmacy Team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive pharmacy service that consistently meets the needs of our patients and service users. You will work closely with our Pharmacists, Technicians, and assistants to ensure the smooth running of our dispensaries, providing a high level of patient care and overseeing stock management processes.

Previous experience in a busy dispensary is essential, as you will be responsible for supporting junior members of the technician team and deputising for the Lead Pharmacy Technician in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service
  • Oversee stock management processes, including Omnicell
  • Provide timely provision of medication to inpatients, outpatients, and clinical areas
  • Accuracy check medicines, including controlled drugs
  • Support junior members of the technician team
  • Deputise for the Lead Pharmacy Technician
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • NVQ level 3 in Pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a dispensary
